If you start a Japanese edition of SAS® 9.2 on an English Windows operating system with Japanese system locale setup, the Japanese characters might not display correctly in Import Wizard windows.
This is a Windows system font issue. The default user interface font of English Multilingual User Interface (MUI) is not appropriate if you use Japanese editions of SAS software.
To change the Windows user interface font to display Japanese characters, perform the following steps:
